TNPSC Group 4 Exam New Syllabus - Revised!

TNPSC releases the TNPSC Group 4 Syllabus through a notification on its official website in pdf form. The candidates can also download it from there. The TNPSC Group 4 Syllabus is per SSLC standard (10th std.) The TNPSC Exam is of objective type but is conducted offline.

TNPSC Group 4 Notification

TNPSC Group 4 Notification was released on 30 March 2022 for 7301 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply till 28 April 2022. The written exam will be conducted on 24 July 2022.  The TNPSC Aspirant for Group 4 Examination 2022 must make a note of the following dates

The details for the TNPSC Group 4 Syllabus for the objective type written examination are mentioned below.

The TNPSC Exam is divided into three parts:

  • Language- General Tamil
  • General Studies
  • Mental Ability

TNPSC Group 4 Syllabus– General Tamil Language

The syllabus for the Tamil language paper will include basic Tamil literature, grammar and Tamil authors and their work. Candidates can download the full TNPSC Group 4 Syllabus pdf and know more details of the Tamil subject paper. 

Candidates have to secure a minimum of 40% in Tamil Language paper.

General Studies is the vastest portion of all and holds 200 marks weightage, making it the most important subject.
