SSC Stenographer Eligibility criteria
The various Eligibility Criteria for SSC Stenographer are as follows :
Age:
- For Grade C Stenographer: The candidate must be between 18 to 30 years of age.
- For Grade D Stenographer: The candidate must be between 18 to 27 years of age.
- Age Relaxation: The upper age limit relaxation provided to the Reserved categories are:

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination/HSC (Intermediate examination) or its equivalent degree from a recognized University or Board.
Nationality
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- The candidate can be a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan.
- The candidate can be a Tibetan refugee who had come to India before 1st January 1962.
- The candidate can be of an Indian origin citizen migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, East African countries of Malawi, Kenya, Zaire, Vietnam, and Ethiopia having the intention to permanently settle in India.
Selection Process
The selection process for the SSC Stenographer 2022 recruitment has two stages:
- The computer-based Multiple choice questions test
- Skill Test
The candidates who qualify both the stages are called for document verification and appointment.
