How to Check the Result?

Following are the steps to check the result of candidates who took the SSC MTS exams:

1. Log on to the official website, ssc.nic.in.
2. Select the Result tab given at the top of the web page.
3. Click on the result link as given in the correspondence to the SSC MTS Merit List
4. Scroll to the appropriate roll number or name.
5. Download and save the result for future reference.

Criteria for Final Selection of Candidates

The following factors are considered for the final selection of candidates.

• Marks scored in paper-I
• Preference of states/UTs as mentioned by the candidates in the SSC MTS application form
• Age-group of the candidates

Documents Required for Verification

The following are some of the documents required for verification once a candidate has passed Paper-I and PET/PST and finds his/her name on the merit list.

• Two recent passport-size recent photographs
• Class 10 certificate
• Class 12 certificate (If applicable)
• Educational Qualification Certificate (If applicable)
• PwD certificate (If applicable)
• Caste/Category Certificate (If applicable)
• One original photo ID proof (This could be Aadhaar Card or Voter ID Card or PAN Card or Passport or Driving License or Government School/College ID Card or Employer ID if currently working in a Government or Public Sector Undertaking)
• Serving Defence Personnel Certificate (for Ex-Servicemen, if applicable)
• Discharge Certificate (If discharged from the Armed Forces, for Ex-Servicemen)
• If a candidate has sought age relaxation, then the relevant certificate or document
• NOC or No Objection Certificate (In case the candidate is already employed in Government or Government undertaking)
• Any other document specified in the Admission Certificate for DV
