ICAR AO Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for ICAR AO are based on two factors
- Age
- Educational Qualification
Age (as of 23.08.2021)
Minimum Age: 21 Years
Maximum Age: 30 Years
Age relaxation is also allowed as per the regulations. The detailed break-up is as follows:

| Other bonafide displaced persons/repatriates of Indian origin/ Defence Services Personnel/ Border Security Force Personnel | As per the existing instructions of the Government of India on the subject |
Educational Qualification
For the post of AO or Administrative Officer, the following educational qualification is expected
- Graduate from a recognized University with a Minimum 55% Mark in the final degree examination.
- Must have a working knowledge of computer
For Departmental Candidates:
All candidates in the service of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research/ Govt. Service, whether in a permanent or in temporary capacity or as work charged employees, other than casual or daily rated employees, will be required to submit an undertaking that they have informed in writing their Head of Office/Department that they have applied for this examination.
Candidates should note that in case a communication is received from their employer by the Board withholding permission to the candidates applying for/appearing at the examination, their applications will be liable to be rejected/cancelled.
